In a recent post you said, “I lived a very straight life until I was 40. ” If comfortable sharing, I was curious what your process in coming to that turning point was. Did you know you weren’t so straight before then and just never explored it? Or did the realization also just not come until then? Apologies if you’ve answered this before 😊

Hey Anon!

Thanks so much for the ask!

I’ve always been attracted to both men and women. One of my first crushes was a girl named Julie (I was 9).

I had some strange sexual experiences with girls when I was quite young, but then nothing until I was 40. I was just in one vanilla relationship after another, so not a lot of opportunity to try new things, even though I wanted to.

One of the best things about my relationship with Misty is her encouraging me to explore myself and explore my sexual desires. So meeting Misty in July of 2013 was one of the very best things to ever happen to me. It’s been a sexual adventure since day 1, and I look forward to more. ❤😊

Hugs!

Becca

*edited to note: the turning point was when I was 37 and discovered tumblr. That actually started a series of events that would lead to the end of my 12 year marriage and wanting to live my life differently.
