My Mumma is coming to visit!!! ❤
It’s been over two years since I’ve seen her and I can’t wait! We leave to go pick her up at the airport in an hour.
We talk almost every day, and I tell her just about everything in my life. When I met Misty I told Mum all about her/him. So she knows more about Misty than his own parents. Mum even bought her a dress one year (which Misty shortened 😏)!
We’ve always been close. And even though I live on the other side of the country from my family, she always comes out this way at least once a year. Until covid, of course.
It’s hard to believe she is 72. In my mind she is forever 40. Which I recognize is goofy since I’m 48.
I’ve got a bottle of wine chilling, the house is reasonably clean, the kids are excited (my youngest has been practicing his guitar all day), baking supplies are stocked… We are ready for Grandmum. ❤
