In honor of Black History Month I plan on doing a series of icons. I completed this painting of Martin Luther King Jr. several days ago in #gouache, a medium I have little experience but found very enjoyable to use. My subject here really needs no introduction, but suffice it to say his legacy has left a profound impact on the world and for this reason he was my first choice. His words continue to resonate far and wide as the fight toward racial equality continues. ✊🏽
