Taurus – Material Girl

Taurus is the sign of opulence, affluence, resources, and capital gain from creative enterprise. This is why the sign of Taurus and the 2nd house manages models, painters, creative writers, acrobats, musicians, architects, landscapers, and fashion design. Taurus is not the sole sign of the creator, there are many signs that express creativity. And they are all inspired by many different sources. For example there is Leo through ego demonstration, Cancer through emotional stimulus, Aquarius through the faculties of intellect and intuition, and Pisces through spiritual vision. Taurus is creative expression conducted through heightened senses, physical awareness, and beautification of the material plane. The opulence and wealth we initially associate with Taurus is also descriptive of the inner state and internal resources.

Taurus is the fixed quality of the earth signs. And nothing really sounds artistic about a realistic and skeptical earth sign with fixed stuck-in-the mud stubbornness. However, it’s through this door that a secret garden is revealed for Taurus. The body, mind, and spirit melts into the natural plane like milk and honey. The physical body is where nature reunites with soul, and the material world becomes their canvas. Taurus has always been fascinated by material. And we are not just talking about cars, designer clothes or diamonds. The material is delightful awareness of the physical body and reading it’s curves and arches like braille. The material is delicate petals, the cool kiss of the sea, fabric, the smell of the rain, silk, velvet, the taste of strawberries exploding natural candies in their mouths. It makes the individual highly responsive to sound, silence, and seasonal symphonies. Nature is the muse for the artist in Taurus. These people take notice of how the moon hangs in the sky, the songs that the birds sing, the temperature making subtle changes, and aromatic spices in the air. They are gifted with exclusive performances by nature. Flowers bloom just for them. They can make just about anything grow with their enchanted green thumb. Taurus has always been associated with farming, horticulture, and landscaping. Music is especially moving to Taurus, like they can sense the vibrations in air playing notes across their skin. It can change their mood and relax any tension. They have a good ear for sound, they are vitalised by using the vocal cords and releasing its energy into an outside medium. It’s possible that the individual sings, performs music, and uses the creative Taurus mind to song write. There’s not many Taureans that don’t secretly love singing, even the tone-deaf, conservative, and bull headed ones. Some Taureans sing on a stage, and others sing in the shower. Mostly they will hum tunes or whistle as they work.

Taurus can be especially good at making other people’s body’s feel sumptuous, nourished, and gratified through touch. Touch is the way that Taurus feels, learns, and understands their world. They can make brilliant masseuses, physical therapists, stylists, make up artists, hairdressers, occupational therapists, and mind-body therapists. And they do it with loving and magnetic touch, almost like creamy silk is gliding from their fingertips. The body is a physical temple, and Taurus has inherited the reproductive creativity of Mother Earth. Talents are nurtured in the same way that seeds are patiently tendered to until the bouquet shoots and blooms. Mother Earth has bonded to Taurus because of their intimacy with her every mineral and mosaic, and Taurus exalts in mother moon so feminine creativity finds a home in Taurus. Venus is the ruler of Taurus and she governs relationship, beauty, and luxury. Libra is the sister child of Venus and Libra directs human relationships. Taurus is nocturnal Venus and she facilitates relationship between body, spirit, and sun, moon, and natural earth. All of the physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences that Taurus has ever lived through remain in the body and when they move, dance, display intimacy, paint, or write, these memories become colour and creativity. It isn’t just Aphrodite that produces Taurus artistry. There are multiple elements in Taurus that inspire the creator. Valcun was the God of Taurus and he was anointed as he designed the harps and instruments for the Gods and angels. Taurus continues to participate in these offerings. Every time they create, design, or enrich the material plane they are having a ceremony with heaven.
