To him I say –
Make me? Try and break me. You have tried before. Unsuccessfully. You told me “You failed as a wife, you failed as a business owner, and now you will fail as a mother.”
Only in your eyes. I’ll use those words to make sure I never do. I’ve made it this far with hard work, tears and family and friends who make me smile and laugh at the insanity of it all.
Never underestimate the power of inappropriate humour.
